Finishing a Spalted Birch bowl that I rough turned last summer. I'm not putting any finish on only water too raise the grain before the last sanding. There was supposed to be a third small bowl also but i accidently sanded trough the bottom of it so it became a lampshade instead.

Very nice, Elias!
Thank you Billy!!
This is just beautiful. What I’d do to have a table like this. You’re so talented. Well done. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you very much Chanda!!
Do you sell these?
Very good !
Thank you very much!!
Very nice Elias! Well done.
Thank you very much!!
Snyggt bord.
@@EliasKlingvall Najs. Tack för svar!
Nydelig arbeide!
Tack så mycket!!
That is a nice set of bowls you made Elias. I noticed in the background that you work in a well-equipped workshop, I give you props for that
Thank you very much!!
Nice, Elias!
Thank you Billy!!
Nice set of plates. Surprised at how wide the grain lines are but it makes for an interesting look.
Thank you very much Stuart!!
I love how your videos are straight to the point, no extra bs, just great craftsmanship with beautiful outcomes.
Thank you very much!!
Nice work. Can you tell me what laser engraving model you used? Thanks
Thank you!! It’s a LaserPecker LP1 Pro
@@EliasKlingvall THANKS
That's some really pretty Ash, Elias! So lucky!
I had high hopes for this little log but it exceeded my expectations
How thick were the slabs? 50mm?
I cut them at 2.5 inches so around 63mm
A lot of projects in those stacks once they dry, Elias.
Absolutely, thank you for watching Billy!!
Nice stack of boards. What will you do with them?
Thank you Stuart!! This is mainly for windows and doors but the really nice ones might become furniture
I got tired just watching you unload that lumber. Thanks for the videos. 😎
Thank you very much Steve!!
Nice boards! And you made a huge stack of them.
Thank you very much!!
Would somebody put some safety glasses on this guy !!!!! OH and very nice work as always !!
Thanks 👍 Great looking piece and the spalting makes it.
Wow,550mm?)) be careful
That thing is huge
Just found your video. beautiful work love the beautiful bowl
Thank you very much Paul!!
эта эпоксидка пищевая
Well done Elias! It's always great to see you.
Thank you very much!!
Those bowls look great! Did you dry the blanks in a kiln or... ?
Thank you very much Stuart!! I let the blanks dry slowly in a box of shavings but I don’t mind if the bowls warp a little so they weren’t fully dry when I turned them
I bet the third one as a lampshade looks great with light behind it. Wasn't that impressed with the wood's appearance during entire turning process. But gorgeous when polished!! Like a fossil. Fresh AND ancient. Nice!
Thank you very much!! I agree Birch can be a bit bland but I think the spalting really made these bowls look great
Bummer!
Nice lampshade
Tiene un hoyo muy especial, en el propio centro del plato... Increíble!!!
Welcome to the Funnel Club !
A nice lamp cover
mycket fint!
mycket fint! har du någon video på vilka kuttrar du använder för vilka profiler osv?
simply beautiful design, thanks for the inspiration!
Eres un todo terreno 😂
Ambitious project . Expertly turned .
Hi Elias, Love the videos! Especially the turning Videos. Try adding a section of "Pool Noodle" to the Mills right hand grip - helps reduce the pain after a long day of slabbing
Thank you very much Matt!!
Was this log too big for the bandsaw mill? How thick did you cut the slabs? 50mm?
Yeah the bandsaw can cut 60 cm and these logs were 80 cm on the small end. I cut them at 65 mm and the core slab at 75 mm
Taking a page from the guys on the Belko Wood channel! @Belko_woodlive
